I have one and it is driving me potty.
I love the fact that it is electric and works on a remote, but it keeps jamming.
Anyone in the vast pool of knowledge that is Scoobynet know anything about adjusting doors which jam on the frame?
Please?
SB

Bob Marley's garrage door used to keep Jamming too.
sorry, not much help.
Can you see any wear on the tracks to indicate where it rubbing??
are the rollers ok??
check the chain (if chain type for damage or broken sproket)
grease it up properly.
basically hard to say without looking, go on, check it out.
good luck BB

When your door is closed , check the gap all round the door, is it all equal and approx. 3/8" spacing all the way round, if not , this could be one problem , your frame could do with planing to increase the width slightly (bear in mind that timber frames swell slightly with the damp, so you may have a larger gap in summer!!)
Secondly, where the trolley connects to the door , is it fitted centrally to the door (also is the motor fitted centrally to the door?) if this is slightly off centre it will be pushing more one way than the other.
If you need any further help you can call me on 07786 077329 , check my profile.
Nate.
