Hope someone can help.

Does anyone know where I can get 6/10 bottles of Veuve Clicquot yellow label for a good price.

Cheers

I'm sure most Majestic's stock it and will probably do you a good deal for say 12 bottles! They always seem to have good multiple bottle deals.

I checked out Yell for the nearest Majestic to you in East Sussex:

Majestic Wine Warehouses Ltd
271, Old Shoreham Rd
Hove East Sussex
BN3 7ED

Tel: 01273 777085

At least you can call them up to see how much it would be and what sort of deals they have on!

I could tell the difference 96, believe me, Cava is cr*p and gives me a headache. I hate people who ask would you like a glass of Champagne and then give you some crap sourced from outside the region. If anyone likes fizz and wants to try something other than Cava and save some cash then may I be so bold as to suggest a Cremant D'Alsace?
Mind you I've drunk so much Champagne that I'm now totally sick of the stuff. Special occassion? Why yes, it's Thursday.

If anyone wants a recommendation for a really good Champagne then Castellane "Florens"- a 100% Chardonnay cepage is one of the best.
Non-vintage Champagne is strictly for the non cogniscenti.

BTW please excuse any spelling errors my written french is almost as bad as my English.

I'd rather have a fizzy Jacobs Creek over cheap champange!!

Veuve Clicquot (Orange label) is my favourite champange though!! Much nicer than Bollingier in my humble opinion!!!
