Legalise all drugs - no more druggy crimes and some nice tax for the government. No one is forced to put chemicals into their body however people should all be educated of the possible consequences - particularly with ecstasy and the small chance of reacting badly to it.

i got Human Traffic on DVD u see and it raised some really good points, 30 thousand people die a year because of alcohol yet its legal because its taxible AND theres more chance of u getting killed in a fight in a bar than dying because of a drug overdose
PS. i used to be a pill jockey, but they didnt agree with me, although i know people who lead perfectly normal lives and love taking them

i dunno maybe im being naive but i believe governments have far far far to much control over us. i dont think it should be up to them whether we're allowed to take drugs or not

i really doubt more people were killed due to ecstacy than pub fights. u dont hear about pub deaths, i've known of quite a few that have happened without even a mention in the local paper, ecstacy on the other is an illegal substance cus it cant be controlled by the government will get massive publicity when someoned dies due to it.
i've actually heard of more people dying from swallowing there old sick due to drinking that i have of deaths by ecstacy. and the one death caused by ecstacy that i've known from where i live was a result of an accident not because of the actual ecstacy.
LSD in the other hand is a completely different kettle of fish imo

50% of the country are of below average intelligence and need protecting.
If you mean 50% of the country lack the intelligence required to keep themselves alive, then I ask you if these are the people we really want breeding?

Alcohol isnt ******* the world up, it only seems to be ******* Britain up.
As for drugs, I say make them legal, and make them free.
Educate people to the dangers, then have vending machines dishing the stuff out. Those who want to take them can do so if they desire. If it kills them, well, they were warned of the risks, so tough.

Drugs like cocaine were legal during WW1, kept the troops from thinking what a feckin hell hole they were in, and cannabis was still legal in 1923 as well. Most were tied in with opiates for various stupid political reasons. Even old Queen Victoria took em. Drugs can be very bad, usually when mixed with other drugs, especially alcohol. Cocaine and heroin when pure are safe and proscribed for various legitimate reasons to this very day. Ask the US airforce although thats probably a terrible example.
The most dangerous drugs I know are still jellies or temazepam,(although the jelly capsules should not be available in this liquid form anymore as it was made illegal for general use as it was being injected by addicts, it still is on the black market though). Temazepam, which is a is a benzodiazepine hypnotic agent, available from a doctor near you when mixed with alcohol can be the cause of the most horrific violent acts for no reason.
I'd like to say a bit more as I work with mentally disordered drug offenders and get street info every day, but unfortunately some people on this board will probably phone the police and grass me in if they get half a chance

Yeah, you still posted it though.
It gets boring mate. Very, very boring.
Every other thread taken off topic to get personal.
See, even I'm doing it now so I'll keep out of it.

What are your thoughts on the West of Scotland Semi secure unit for mentally disordered offenders that they want to build in my village. Are you dealing with this? Have you any insider info?
Cheers
A very worried Jer

I used to be a devoted follower of the mixmag culture. and have expereince and views in this subject.
More people die from choking on peanuts each year than from dying directly from ecstacy.
in 1998 on average 1 million ecstacy tablets are used every weekend, and ho many deaths per year in 1998 12 suspected.
Now speed on the otherhand used to have a much wider user bass, and caused more deaths than ecstacy, yet has a lower classification and not harrnaged to death in the media.
is ecstacy safe, no, is it the murdering evil death substance it is made out to be, again no. If it was leagalised it would create vasts amount of revenue and could also be controlled like in Holland.
but once again the UK is to nannyified to wake up to the real world.

i think people forget about the impact it has on the users friends and family's.
about 4 years ago my best mate got involved in crack cocaine becoming heavily dependent on it.
i can remember being around his house which he shared with his parents and seeing some nasty ***** turning up for money he owed.
in two years i watched his mother turned from a healthy 55 year old to a cancer riddled shell, who died well before she should have.
his father remarried, and pretty much wont have anything to do him and his older brothers have disowned him.
fortunately, he's now clean but was is worth it? i think not.

nowt wrong with weed at all. most people who state they were addicted to it were more than likely mixing it with tobacco in rollups and were actually addicted to the tobacco/nicotine.
