Question

I went out (like some kind of mug today) to the high street/shopping centre in Southampton today. To be quite honest I was amazed at how much money people were spending. It was horribly busy and no fun at all.

I had almost no interest in buying anything. Am I ultra boring or are there other people who dont feel the need to go and buy a load of dvds/cds/new clothes etc etc JUST because the sales are on...........it seemed to me that people were out spending because they felt they had to.........

Im guessing the majority of these people were putting themselves further into debt, fools.

I know what you mean but if you can save 50% then it's daft not to buy now if you need it ...

LMAO at all the losers who went and bought fred perry rubbish before christmas, selling shirts off at £5 each.

Decided not to buy any of my presents until after christmas, saved a fortune.

My philosophy has always been that if I really needed something I would go out and get it rather than wait all year for a sale to start.

Plus, I never mix with the rif raf , all my 'luxury item' shoppping is done online.

I usually spend a good few hundred quid on clothes in the sales.
Often get a good (kitchen) knife or two as well
