I have a pic that was taken and the lighting is very poor. The pic is quite dark and yellowy. The pic is from a reunion and I would have like to send it out to those who attended but it aint too hot
Anyone that is good with photoshop want to have a go at it ?
I have tried but tbh I am just playing about with it and have no real idea about half the adjustment tools.

Make a duplicate layer.
Set the blend mode to 'screen'.
If it's still too dark, make another copy of the the current (top) layer.
If that makes it too light, fade it down a little.
Flatten all layers.
(PS. I got this from a book and it works pretty well as a quick way to rescue 'underexposed' shots).

You can normally correct underexposure by using the Levels tool. If the white balance is off (image looks yellow), you can correct that with Image>Adjust>Variations - just keep picking the one that's closest to how the image should look. Finally, an underexposed image will probably be noisy, so you might want to clean that up using a tool like Neat Image.
Or, if you like, I can have a go at fixing the image for you - just mail it to the address in my profile
Andy.
