Am I the only person who is having a difficult time finding something to do tomorrow night?
I've had the standard offers of 'let's go to a pub / club' but my wife is 4 months pregnant and doesn't fancy the idea of standing in a smoke filled pub all night!
I was hoping to do something special for her, but I'm completely out of ideas...
HELP!!!
Mark.

I'll be cooking a nice meal @ home. Haven't been out for NYE for the last 4yrs. The "downside" of having kids.....
Not overly bothered about "celebrating" publically - costs a bl00dy fortune for what is, in essence, just a normal night out. Rip Off.

ScoobyDoo,
Staying in and cooking a special meal sounds like a great idea! I just have to get off my **** and organise it...
Have a good one everybody, whatever you're doing!

I would go down my local but it will be full of part-time/fair weather drinkers. Go out on the 1st January when they will be back in front of the TV for another year.

A few of us are having an (indoor!) street party - most of us have kids & this way we don't have to worry too much about what they're up to. We're all bringing along a selection of games
to liven things up a bit. Also means a quick stagger home in the early hours as opposed to a ludicrously priced taxi.

My wife ,also, is 4 months pregnant. We are also attending an in-house street party.
We should spend more time driving the cars and posting crap here, and less time in the sack with the women, would work out cheaper

My local is charging to get in. You can go in the night before or after, drink the same beer and not pay....

Staying in, bottle or 2 of champagne or nice expensive vino, reminiscing the year past, listening to all our fav songs on the hi-fi, convincing the missus to stay with me for another year, phoning a few buggers who don’t deserve it (in fact might miss this bit out this year as its always me who seems to phone), absolutely no telly on all night. Taking some other stuff that cannot be discussed on a public forum, a few dances round the living room, then kip ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
