£2350 list but changing hands at £3250 quite readily. It's not a ltd edition though so stick your name down on the waiting list and you'll get yours in 3 or 4 years. I like it(cause it's different), but prefer the Explorer II.

What is it with Rolex these days though? Supply is certainly much higher than it was even 6 months ago. Walk into any mall and look in any Goldsmiths branch and you will see GMT2's, Daytonas and all sorts of models. Pretty sad now, much preferred the 'good old days' when all the watches had a waiting list attached and a premium to beat the list...*sigh* just like the Impreza they are becoming 'common', mass market and 'Kevin'.

Why does anyone need a watch to be waterproof to 330 + feet??
Firstly I never dive anywhere near that deep and even then I use a ddive computer not a posers watch.
The trouble with Rolex watches is that every Tom, Dick and Abdul has a fake one so it is easy to look as sad as them.

For all the un-educated.
When YOU own a real Rolex, Omega, Breitling, or prestige watch. YOU dont care what anyone else thinks(real or fake? etc), because YOU know what it is. Until YOU own the real deal YOU wont have felt the inner feeling of superiority.
As for why have 330ft water resistance, why have a release valve, why have a UTC, why have a distress beacon, why have this, that, and the other......WHY NOT?
Watches are more important than life, dont get me started.

This is what I wear, ok not the most expensive watch ever, but I love it, and it tells me to slow down when I ascend too fast

A mighty fine watch you have there eek, I also have one of those Aqualand II's but with the yellow face. The dive computer is fairly accurate on them too, last time I took it into our dive chamber at work it read 50.6 metres at a genuine 50m. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

All my Rolex where fake... Made shed loads of money out of them. Most got sold on again to some muppets for stupid money.
I prefer IWC or Omega and Vacheron & Constantin.
