Mines for sale for around £400.00 But that is a real custom made thing that will blow your **** off. But to answer your question.. yes they do sound better. Any portable has a pathetic little amp trying to run the Cans.. Use a pre out and a good portable amp for around £70.00 and you will be amazed. makes me laugh when I see people using pro type headphones direct from an ipod!!! mind you the sound quality from that thing is krap...
