Stone Chip Repairs - Advice Wanted

Got a real bad patch of stone chips on the drivers door of my ITR, only realised today after washing it, think it came from a feckin' council gritter on xmas eve.
Anyone got any experience of the 'Chips away' type companies who will repair the chips rather than re-spray the whole door?
Any info/advice will be gratefully received.
