Its ok depends what you are used too. Personly I found it a bit boring after a couple of runs, good bit of fun for a few hours though.
Also can't remember how much it was but it ain't cheap.

Went a couple of weeks ago, think it was about £10 off peak/
£16 on peak (holidays and weekends). But its a bit of a bugger with times you can use it (lessons etc)
I've been boading a couple of times and as above found it a bit boring after a couple of runs but is without doubt the best indoor or dry slope going.
ex missus found it very good but she had only been once before.
check out the website.

would say the hire stuff that they provide is actually very good as well, I was supprised.

I think it was £16 for an hour including hire of equipment.
I know what people say when they say it is boring, but its good fun to practise you technique.
I'd say it was pretty good value.
You can spend some time shopping, Ski, and then have a meal in one of the restaurants.

Off to Tamworth tomorrow with the kids to do some tobboganing. Not cheap for a family activity so I hope it is good. Anyone else been?

1hr is enuff & I would go off peak as it can get pretty busy. It shuts for an hour each day to groom the snow, go after this is done for the best conditions!
Oh, time it well and the aerobics class will be in full flow as u r pulled up the left hand side lift!

Pro's: Less likely to hurt yourself, particularly if you're learning to snowboard, better than dryslope. big jumps, rails etc open at certain times (ring).
Con's: can get very busy. can get a bit dull, especially if the jumps are closed. bit soft (think slushy snow) edge grip isn't great.
I actually go quite a lot... been demoing boards etc. Like it, but it can be too busy / dull. Very good for a pre-trip warmup / get everything working again etc.
From a boarding point of view, I don't think the hire gear's great. Boards aren't bad, if very basic (soft as!), but I think the edges are round, and I don't reckon they see wax - ever. Boots are a bit of a shocker. Most are old step in's with the SI bits removed.
Ski gear seems better (good according to friends who've skiied there). range of boots and skiis, though I suspect that again edges and wax aren't a big part of the scene.
All in all, I'd recommend it, but look out for specials - eg, they do a phat night where it's 30 quid all night. Or make a day of it - half mile away is centre:mk one rather big shopping centre... plus a reasonable number of shops in the same building as the snowdome..
