hey,

ive decided i might want to goto uni this year and do a graphics course (not sure which yet) but me and my other half are wanting to get a mortgage this year aswell, is there any way this could work and if so how? i know nowt about this uni malarky as ive been working since i left college but want to go further and get out of my dead end job.

I'm not sure about the mortgage but I can tell you that you have to apply to UCAS before the 15th of Jan 04 to be consdered for this year.

Also, contact the university you want to go to direct. They give all sorts of advice because mature students often have queries like that.

Edited to say: Obviously they can't give you mortgage advice, lol, but they can tell you what the course will entail and how you can fit a working life around uni.

University is extremely expensive if you dont have the right financial support. And also dont forget, it could put a strain in your relationship with the wife thanks to the amount of work that you have to do. Happened to me..

lol im not that mature im only 22 end of jan.

ive found a 3 year ba (hons) graphic design which i might see if i can do, gonna phone the uni its 1 day a week for 3 years 48 weeks a year
