Here's one for you:
Driving home from the outlaws yesterday we were on the M42 in the roadworks, no traffic around, 50mph limit and 3 sepeed cameras. Some lass in a beemer got flashed doing about 70ish on the first one but diddnt seem to have slowed when she disappeared from view. My question is; If she continued at speeds of say 70-80 through all 3 cameras, never slowing to the speed limit would she collect 3, 6 or 9 points through commiting 3 offences?
Because, if you think about it, if she had been followed by a traffic car with VASCAR they would have given her points for one offence at an average speed. Surely this situation would count as one offence too?

She should collect all 9 points, through the process of totting up etc.
However, there was a case about a year back where a woman drove down one side of the road, around the roundabout and back down the other side. In the process she got done twice, once on each side.
As the time between the offences was a matter of seconds she was able to convince the court (well, her representitives were) to consider it as one offence and so she escaped being done twice.
I can't remember the details but suspect that this was a Mags. court and so it certainly would not set precedent so the person you saw would have to fight long and hard to avoid her 9 points, unless she knows someone.

my next door neighbours mate got caught on his motorbike by 2 cameras, because each photo had the same time stamp, & the fact you can't legally be in two places at once he was summonds for one, which happened to be the lowest speed!..

logic would dictate to me that if i accelerated above the speed limit and kept over the speed limit that to be caught 3 times would only count as one offence!?!

I got done many years ago (about 3o plus years)by a Bill on a bike who followed me from a 40 into a 30 limit and did me for both, and I got two endorsments at the time, so I guess this lass will get three lots of points and fines. I bet it wasnt dangerous though?

2 years ago when I first got the scoob, I got flashed 3 times in one night. It was the worst 2 weeks of ownership having to run to the post each morning. Luckily nothing ever came through. Since then, never been flashed once...[touches wood]
