Help...
Can anyone let me know if I can get a Toshiba DVD player play copied DVD's? It is a 220 e and the copies are v good and work on other machines.
I have tried dvdhacks.co.uk etc, but these appear to be mainly region codes etc?
Cheers

Copies should work. My m8 has a sd220e and it plays em fine. Only thing it wouldn't play were non region 2 copies. Might just be that the tosh is a bit more picky about dvdr media. The 220e can be made region free. To do this you have to download a file off the net, burn it to a disc and run it through the machine. Sounds a pain but is actually straight forward.

I had a 11e - the only blank media it would play, were dvd-r and certain cdrs....
Granted it was multi-region, so no problems there - got round it by upgrading to a different DVD player...
