If he is currently serving a sentence for similar offences, his solicitor will argue that your burglary was one that should have been 'taken into consideration' when he was originally sentenced....and would have probably made no difference if he had already pleaded guilty to other dwelling house burgalries...so he may receive very little for this new offence.......sickening, but thats our legal system for you...

That's just typical,
the penalty for 3 burglarys should be 3times the penalty for one ,and so on...FFS,you can't get caught speeding and ask for two other pending cases to be considered and get 4 points instead of nine you would get 9 and tough ****
!! but burglaries/car theft/crimes against the person, etc are different , next the courts will be saying that they're victimless crimes, justice? ...what freekin' justice....it's a token gesture....police have to chase these ba5tards down on occasion and they get let off with a slap on the wrist and we wonder why crime is rampant...duh...'cos justice is a joke and makes a criminal life do-able and so much easier than it should be .The justice system seems to say to criminals "hey, don't break the law please,if you don't mind,if that's ok with you ppllease ,sorry to bother you..." ...must be a standing joke amongst criminals
ahh,rant/hi-jack over.
