I’ve been playing this song quite a lot lately after a few 'experiences' I had over the festive period. If you haven’t heard the song the first part is Matt Johnson talking before the song starts. It’s a very short song with a very simple guitar track but I just think its one of the most poignant that I've ever heard.

I've just rapped my Job after two years of being fcuked about by management and HR. For my 'signing off' Email I sent out the lyrics to Frankie's 'My Way'. Fit's like a glove!

I think RHCP lyrics are mostly quite brilliant. They don't get the attention they deserve because the music is great as well but the lyrics are exceptionally good.

Californication is a good example. Under the Bridge. Easily. I'd give both my cohones to be able to write lyrics like that

Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet - one of the most poignant, and "true" songs I've ever had the pleasure of listening to It's one of those "make you think" songs for those that haven't heard it...

Changed the way I thought about some things anyway - sign of a great song in my opinion.
