I need to hire a Luton Box van as I'm moving house shortly, as just wondered if anyone has any recommendations as to who is cheapest?
Some deals look appealing in terms of daily hire rate, but the small print entails a horrendously high pence per mile charge charge.
Anyone know who does the best overall deal?
Cheers

I found the cheapest one was my local non-big-rental firm chap. Indpendent in other words.
OK, his luton vans were not new, but probably 3-4 years old, but did the job (why do you need a brand spanking new van!). If it breaks down, I'm sure he'd deliver another one.....
Cost me 20 quid for the day, and no mileage charge. Even said since I was only using it around town that not to bother filling it up with diesel as I was only doing about 15 miles.
Result.
