Vasectomies; how much do they hurt?
#2
My advice, get it done!
Pain, general anaesthetic, no problem It does not hurt.
Now when it starts to wear off it becomes more of a problem, go to bed and don’t let anybody near your nuts
Get some tight y fronts to hold yer ***** up tight as the feel very heavy for about four weeks and it give you all the support you will be needing, have a week off work and go for as much sympathy as you can.
Best £75.00 I spent, how much does it cost now?

had mine done a couple of years ago , best thing i ever done so the wife reckons, but be warned some people have an allergic reaction to their own sperm which is absorbed back into your own system, it is easily treated with steroids but it hurts like hell, my b*lls swelled up like grapefruits, although very impressive they ******* hurt

They dont inject your plums , just the tubes behind the skin above them , had mine done about 5 years ago , only took about an hour , my missus didn't believe I went through with it as I wasn't there long so wanted a look before we left the hospital I went for a game of golf the day after , just feels a bit sore as the anesthetic wears off . just leaves your man juice a bit runnier otherwise its pretty much as it was before .
Go get it done ya big wuss

Go for it.Do what the surgeon tells you and youll be OK. Just wear a tight pair of pants for a few days to keep your nuts secure and youll have no probs.

eeek..
How come you pay for it ... it is not done on the nhs?
Does private health care cover it ??????
Dave. eyes still watering ... needle in plums
Just found this !!!!!!
I can understand why men don't like vasectomies.
My uncle got a vasectomy, and paid for it with Mastercard.
He forgot to pay the bill, and the finance company came over to his house and knocked up my aunt.

a mate of mine just got it done recently. he had it done on the nhs but went to a proper vasectomy clinic for it, all they did was a couple of small cuts and put electrodes in his sack which apparantly 'kills' something and there you have.
p.s - i doubt you will be able to have a general.

Have a wander through here:

which is actually a pretty funny site. Well, until about page 6 anyway!

Go for a General - definately.
Interesting to note the reaction in work. Everyone was extreemly interested about it, but I declined all offers to show my scars.

I had a general, as I'm scared to death of needles.
It ached a little bit after, for a few hours / days. They do get a little bit bruised and colourful. I found that they wanted to seemingly get back inside my body for a few days.
Think I tested it out within the week.
Hope this helps, Phill
PS The worse part is the stitches IMHO. I took mine out myself in the end

hold on a sec..
are you saying that you still shoot? I though that once they pipes were snipped, nothing comes out (pardon the pun)..

Don't be silly, you still shoot exactly the same as before, it's just there no swimmers in there.
If you put the contents in a test tube (like when you take it the the clinic) it looks ok to start with. After a quick car journey it looks like clearish. Don't be concerned, it the same for all of us
Hope this helps, Phill

Piece of ****. Mine was all over and done with in about 30mins. Yes it hurt a bit afterwards but paracetamol and tight fitting supportive underwear (not boxers) will help. Everything was working as it should within a week. I had mine done a few months ago on the NHS for nowt at a local clinic, this was all arranged through my GP.
A couple of days of pain has got to be better than:
a) wearing a condom for the rest of your sex life
b) making your other half go through MAJOR surgery to be steralised
or c) having your other take the pill for the rest of her life which can't be good for her.
Go for it

Good points Shane...
Never thought I would say this, but it's something I'm giving seconds thoughts to now. Not something I will concider for a while (until we are sure we don't want any more children), but definitly an option for the future I think...

What you don't want to know is what happens if you have problems with your prostate and the doctor has to massage it to clear it out...

Ok I`ll add my 2ps worth here cos I`m a man with double experience..
Here goes
I had a vasectomy 4 years ago under a general, didnt hurt too much at all,and you still ejaculate..
Things have changed, I`m with someone else and on the 2nd of Jan, I had a reversal under general again... bloody hell it hurt.. i think its cos they were trying to find the ends so they could rejoin them...I`ve had 14 days off work cos my ******* went every colour of the rainbow...
Hope this helps.
