Hi, just a quick q , does anyone with a business here / website etc.. use google ad words ?

Just wondering if the adwords service has actually benefitted your business at all ? Any advantages of using the service ? Have your sales increased ? or potential sales at all ? Have you noticed a significant increase in website traffic ?

Im just evaluating whether to use the service.

Yup just started using them at work. not sure about the results just yet, but like all SEO it depends on the offer behind the positioning...

We don't use it on its own - combined with more traditional positioning so that we get listing in the main list as well as the adwords.

all depends what you are offering I think, my old business was bespoke software development and ad words increased traffic but no business. Im sure there's a website somewhere that says its a bit of a con.
