ive installed the software, click syncronise and sayd sincronised,

im trying to dounload some goodies from ere : http://sep800.mine.nu/


ya download whatever ya want then using software instal on fone, when i click on instal and ya find the file to save on phone it says invalid JAD file and the says fone dissconected??????

Bit unclear on what you've said mate, but this is how I did it.

On that website, dowload to PC (for example ringtone 'Z' to a folder we'll call 'X'), connect phone to PC (just plugged onto docking station, don't syncronise), open My Computer on PC, click on folder list on My Computer, locate P800 in folder list on LHS, click on the + on P800 to list folders, then click on memory stick (which brings up sub folders in memory stick, ie video, images, sounds), then locate folder X (with downloaded items), click on folder X so the contents appear in the RHS window of My Computer, then simply left click on 'Z' and drag onto sounds folder on P800 and drop it.

Sorry if you know all this, but thats how I used to do it. Also if it's a program you are downloading onto P800, just connect phone, then double click on the program and it will install automatically.

cant do it that way i can find a p800 folder but click it and its blank.

if i go through start>programs>sonyericsson> etc it has a drop down tab for install software.

still not workin though

re-install the software then if it's not seeing the phone. You won't see the contents of the phone's folders if it's properly installed anyway, but it works to drag and drop.
