...as the owned of a S-Type Jag found out last night.

On the way home about 7pm up the B6047. Nice road with some good strights and tight bends. Very flowing in places. I came up behind a police car who in turn was behind another car. We were doing 60 mostly but slowing down through the villages (30, 40, 50 zones). All within limits. Then as we came to more open stretchs the speeds built up, sometimes doing 70. I'm thinking "mmm that police driver seems an OK sort, he's letting that other car go". Then on a long stretch they went upto about 80 (at which point I let them go) and I thought "I wounder how much it would take for the guy in front to get pulled", at which point the blues when on on the police car and he pulled over the Jag.

I assume the jag driver was not aware that it was a police car behind him. Probably thought it was another rep mobile trying to keep up with him. "You never can tell...." I though as I crept past...

I cant see who's behind me anyway with that dammed Prodrive spoiler. they made it "just" the right/wrong height to completely obscure your view

Still, it looks good.

I'm hard pushed to get up to the speed limit at the best of times in my trusty old French diesel van

It was pretty funny the other day when Corsa boy buried his front lights in my rear bumper looking to overtake me ...after he did overtake I slowed down a bit more for the speed camera (went from 60 to a 30) to see 2 bright flashes

Some people just never learn

Sort out your seat height so that your wing cuts the main glare from headlights behind you, much easier to see what is behind you then!

Nath..
Had an almost similar experiance to you.

I was behind a traffic car, 30mph restriction.

Behind me was a dafty in an escort, right up my bumper, he even flashed his lights for me to hurry up.

So i indicated left, to say he could go past, which he did, and it wasn't till he was level with me, he noticed the traffic car..

Which proceeded to put the blue lights on.
