What an incredible device!

I am actually posting fom the phone using a full screen web page...non of this WAP rubbish...

also have proxyless MSN, video, camera, integrated diary, contacts, MP3 player, oh and a phone!

Does anyone else have one...and what apps have you found most useful?

I am using the Opera browser to post this, an excellent mobile web tool.

Thumbs up

Yes, I have. Absoloutely superb phone!

I have downloaded the photo editor on mine (you can demo it on the disk that comes with the phone), amazing features on it. Also the map of London is quite impressive (also on the disk).

Deffinately the best phone ever, no question.

I'll give it the thumbs up too!
The only problem I've had with it was it corrupted the back up files so they wouldn't restore to the phone and it seemed only to be the files I'd saved when I had Opera on it. Now this wouldn't normally be a problem but I downloaded an update for it from the SonyEricsson site and it wiped it clear of all info!!
Other than that it's been a great phone.

What do they cost to run? - for email & web browsing. Do you need a special email address or can you use your normal address?

Email and web uses GPRS which varies by operator - but you only pay for data transmitted and it is online full time...

...for example I have InstantSymbian - and MSN emulator. I did some messaging (you need a hotmail based MSN account) which if I had used SMS would have cost around £1.50...with MSN/GPRS it cost 0.001 penny!

Typical per mb costs are between £2-4 depending on the operator. I pay £3 with Orange, but have not got a bulk deal yet!

Overall - much, much cheaper and more useful than WAP.

Bloody great device - which is a bit more than a phone.

Has anyone tried to install SMS Send?

Is enables the sending of text messages via GPRS/ICQ and so costs tiny amounts compared to normal SMS rates.

I have downloaded thezip filew which contains a .jad and a .jar file - which I can do nothing with

Edited to say that that software is now defunct due to a lawsuit from AOL/ICQ!!!!!!!!

Other groovy downloads I have discovered.

Sman - a great memory management tool - with loads of functional extras such as Today - giving you all your calender and task activities for today.

Traffic-i - traffic master on your phone

There is loads of stuff at that clicky posted above!

Want BT GPS now
