fewcking getting annoying now, but im wondering who to blame? can you realistically blame the owner of the cat? cos it likes to sit on your bonnet when its warm? if not who pays for the scratches all over my brand new car ? or do i have to cover it up every single time i come in and out, bit of a dilema but no idea what to do, anyone else had it?

Either blame the cat, or blame the owner of an antisocial pet, the choice is yours.

Talking

Get some lion poo from local zoo & put on bonnet.

It's a territorial thing apparently.

And before people scoff,Colchester zoo sold this in little bags for gardeners with moggy problems.

Oh dear, this will get locked again!!

Compare & contrast - your local yob sits on your bonnet. Do you :

a) Kill him
b) Kill his parents
c) Take avoiding action

Hmm....I wonder.

Another moderator may have deleted your original post without comment, but I wont.

That kind of post is not only completely unacceptable on Scoobynet, and is potentially even more dangerous to children than animals.

Your original post has been copied for reference, should it be required.

ajm,

My argument still stands....you would consider killing a cat because it sat on the bonnet of a car?

1) If someone bumped your car in a supermarket car park and it caused a scratch in the bumper, would you kill them too?

2) Some 12 year old ****** throws a stone at your car. Would you kill them too?

The difference is that with 1 & 2, the offenders knows what they are doing is wrong. A cat does not know it is "bad" to sit on a car bonnet!

You're also implying that the life of an animal is worth less than a paint scratch? Shame on you.

Your bonnet is going to get stone-chipped anyway over time. Who cares. It's a bit of metal.

cmon guys was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences, dont come out with that bullsh1t its just a piece of metal get it painted, you might as well get ur monthly salary and drive down the road with it in ur hand and the window down letting blow away.

Was just looking for an idea, i was thinking of getting a sheet/cover and throwing it over the front end each time i park at my house

Thumbs down

Hey mods come on now - get it locked - you know you'll have to eventually as soon as the sad and frankly stupid 'kill the cat' brigade join in so why not save us the bother and do it now?

I am surprised at your reaction Josh, particularly the tenuous way you have attempted to bring children into it. It was never my intention to create controversy, merely to make a flippant tongue-in-cheek remark about the fragility of uncontrolled felines.

For your reference I too have kept a copy of my original post.

There is nothing flippant or toungue in cheek in suggesting a way to kill anything. Especially when it involves leaving out unattended chemicals or toxins.

I edited ajm's post in a vague attempt to stop this thread going the way of so many others. But since the 'kill the cat' brigade are already here, I don't think there any alternative but to lock the thread.
