just wondering about when I should get my V5 log book back from DVLA. Its been about 11 days now.

They lost mine [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] (after they'd changed the details)

Caused a shed load of grief when it came to tax the car. Ended up having to go to my local DVLA office (30 miles away)

Obviously, this is a bad example, but I'd be calling them to get an update if I were you

It really depends on the time of year and if the change of owner is close together with the previous owner change etc usually takes a couple of weeks but when the new registrations are due it takes longer as they are done first

They lost mine
what a fecking suprise NOT! They are a useless bunch of ***** [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] They have lost logbooks & my Driving license before They even sent me letters recently regarding a car I sold even though the new owner had received his logbook & they knew who now owns it & owned it at the time [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

V5 should take up to 2 weeks normally but don't hold your breath.

can take upto 5 weeks if you are the new keeper. if its just a replacement theres a phone number you can ring and they 'say' it'll be with you in a couple of days. be quick as they are gonna start charging for repacement v5(logbooks)

need to fill out a v63 for new docs now

I'm still waiting on mine, and it's been since November. I guess I should give them a call

I hate the DVLA, they're a pathetic waste of space
