I am thinking of purchasing one of those Video senders units. We have just had Sky installed and I cant put it down. It would great if I could have it up stairs as well without paying another £15 a month for another box.
Anyone got one? are thay as good as they sound.
I have only seen the Thomson and the Phillips one so far.
Picture and sound quality is the main concern?
Does the remote control extender work?
Do you get any interference?
Where do you get them from?
Any info gratful
Thanx Adam

I have the AEI digisender from Argos. You can send both Sky and DVD (or anything else) around the house.
The eye works fine, but you do have to stick it over the remote sensor on the Sky Box.
Reception is pretty good, in fact most of the time excellent. Do occasionally get interference, normally if one of us walks close to it. But it has different channels, I just haven't been bothered to change the,

AEI digisender, I am thinking that the digi means it sends in digital rather than anologue? right
Does it have remote control extender? Is that what u mean by you need to put above the sky box?
It sounds just what I'm after. I'm still a little unsure though.
cheers Adam
Anyone else with any points??

I would say the 'digi' refers to the sending from digital sources i.e. sky digital and DVDs. Its mentioned above that it can suffer from interference this would suggest it transmits an analogue signal.
