Question

We are hooked up to NTLs cable TV. The missus asked last night if it would be possible to have a wireless connection to our TV upstairs from the downstairs cable settop box. I assume it would but what products are around that could do such a thing? Manufacturers, product nos., links would be great

She also wondered if you could use the existing cable remote upstairs through the wireless unit to change the channel downstairs.

Possible? Or is it a case of falling asleep in the chair

You can do it with wireless scart extenders some have builtin remote extenders also or you can get seperate units they work on 2.4ghz so you can get a good range depending on conditions
have a look at www.cpc.co.uk they have a range of different types

Yeah you can do that with a video sender, The best one around Is the Digisender DG400 gold, Excellent piece of equipment or there is the DG200 not quite as good as the DG400 but will do the job. You can also try Argos they do a small range not sure how good there are though. try EASYLIFE

or SATCURE

Search these website. A bit expensive but do the job!!!!

Talking

There in both the argos and index catalogues - work on radio frequency but with infra-red at both end so yes you can receive picture and change channel.
