D'oh! mums birthday tomorrow and i totally forgot. what do i do?

My Mums birthday tomorrow, Jan 28th also......
My better half sorted me out with a prezzy and a card, I just had to sign it.
PS. The prezzy was a lantern from CostCo with a funny looking bulb.
The first line of functions says lasts 8000 hrs, so she bought it thinking 'thats good', lasts for ages.
But she didnt read it fully, the bulb lasts for 8000hrs, the battery for 16
.
Shes into caravaning you see.
