I thought Bonsai take years and years to grow? You'd need a lot of patience 
As for the home grown factories there was a good story in the local press a few years ago where a gang knocked the lofts through on two mid terrace houses they bought in the middle of the town, lined in with foil and installed a massive lighting setup and grew a whole indoor greenhouse of 'erb.
The electricity board noticed a ridiculously high bill for both properties and reported them to the police and they got busted big time - feking muppets
