Has anyone been getting spam mail last few days?

Yesterday got 47 spam mails, now everytime oe is opened it recieves at least 10 every few hours.
There is one connection to them. two of them was from jap tuning co.
Scoobycity.co.uk and pow-r.co.uk (may just be coincidence)
I was wondering if there is something up with scoobynet and maybe its gone bonkers sending emails from one addy to another. All sorts of 'names'@ are being used. all mails have no content and seem to be in error!
Anyone else getting stuff recently. Im suspicious cos of the scoobycity and pow-r mails

Ed- I was just going to post concerning my lack of e-mails in the last few days.
I haven't received any when I know I should have.
I've even e-mailed myself and got nothing although it goes through the motions ok but just keeps saying no new messages.
Anybody had this?

You lot don't know you were born! In the last 24 hours my spam filter has trapped, erased and bounced 791 spam emails directed at my personal email address!!!! [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Virus or worm was whats more likely to be problem.......its definately spam tho' all sorts of names are being used.... ed, ted, fred, alice

I said no offense, jesus someone is very sensitive!! take a few chill pills then ring your isp to ask if there is any problems with your email account.

The MYDOOM virus is out and does exactly what is happening to the guy whose post it is!!
it infiltrates your system and starts sending out emails to every b*stard!! rumour has it that it opens a back door on your machine for hackers to get in as well....update your sigs guys!

Oh and offence is with a c not an s otherwised it would have registered.
I shall contact my isp in the morning but in the mean time I put it out to Scoobynetters as it's the evening.

im gettin 5 nigerian mails............do people realy fall for it!
Must admit first time reading one had to read again cos u never know
mydoom, sounds like the culprit.cheers scott. must admit getting spam from other tuning companies was a bit suspect.
