carl - you've just proved Dave's point ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
mica - wine won't make you ill just cos it's been haging around - it will just be a little oxidised. if it tasted like sh*t in the first place, it can't really have got any worse, can it?
if all esle fails just drink the bottle of wine vinegar that is to be found in the depths of most cupboards.

Wine in a box is still drinkable about 4 weeks after it has been opened (never gets past 4 days in this house) because very little air gets into the bag when you open the tap. The bag just collapses as the wine comes out, therefore the wine does not oxidise as quickly as it would in an open bottle. So the answer is "get stuck in"
