Shoot him, will save time having to go round there and confront him

Is it Beruit (Parr) you live

edited to add, if it is, no-one will notice another gun going off

AFAIK they tell the offender that a complaint has been made about them, they dont usually say who it was that made the complaint, just that one has been made

If you have approached him previously he may put 2 + 2 together

Unhappy

On eof my mates had this prob not too long ago. He stays in a block of 4 and his neighbour was doin the exact same thing.

Lucky for him the old wife upstairs just kept on calling the police who finally came and took her stereo away and I THINK, charged her for breach otp.

Just a shame she went out and got another stereo eh!

It's a tuff one that's for sure...

If that's true, then actually it sounds like a much better excuse than most. A pair of headphones sounds like a simple, inexpensive fix - have you suggested it?

Enquire as to why he hasn't bought some headphones!!

Explain calmly that it affects your sleep and enjoyment of your home.

If he don't listen complain to the council.

This may be of no use to you what so ever but thought i'd post it anyway.
If this lad does have a 'mental health' problem it is possible he is under the care of the local mental health NHS trust. If this is the case he will have a 'outreach' worker. If you were to go to your local mental health trust and tell them of the problems with him especially that he is hearing voices (they should be able to identify him by his address if you dont know his name)if he is known to them I'm sure they will pay him a visit. If he is playing his music to drown out the voices he may well be quite ill and the mental health trust need to know.
It's probably not quite the answer you are looking for but it may help, suppose it depends on how much effort you want to put in to stop his loud music.
Hope you get it sorted.

I reckon you should find a way to put a small speaker somewhere in his place... and actually create some voices he can hear- very quietly......then he really will think he is going nuts

Or just stick some really bass heavy tunes on, stick the speakers up against the wall pump it up and go out on the **** for the night (or even better go away for the weekend)

Had the same problem with my neighbours, phoned enviromental health and they said its a police issue, phoned police and they said its an enviromental health issue, phoned the police back and told them to come round and collect the body of my neighbour as i was going round to kill him with a hatchet, there was a jam sandwich outside in two minutes, they knocked on his door and he didint hear it so they banged on the door again this time with a truncheon, told him to shut up, enviromental health also turned up and done the same.

The police gave me a direct number after that in case of any more disturbances, there never was!!
