I think its pathetic that adults have to be so shocked by something that is just a word If he had said you bunch of ******* fannies it wouldnt have been anything major at all but means just the same as cvnt. Yes its a dirty word but its only as dirty as the person who hears it makes it. Thats there own downfall if they have to be so shocked just by a word With children its different but this show is on 9pm onwards and it quite clearly states at the beginning strong/offensive language maybe used so no one should be so shocked. The word **** is a dirty word but they can say that as much as they like. I don't see what the big deal is over one word, its pathetic.
He is an idiot all the same for saying it due to broadcasting standards and is probably testing how far he can go without being thrown off the show. I have found him funny at times but also a complete tw@t as well.

im not shocked by it and will say it myself numerous times a day.....i just would choose my time and place...imo to say it (bearing in mind how some ppl feel aout it, irrespective of whether they should or not) in that enviroment with that group of ppl while on that show is just pathetic.

Tiggs yeah I agree with you, its just the people who will make such an issue of it today with strong complaints to the TV authorities are very sad in my opinion and need to get a life. Its a word and nothing more. Im sure these types of people must be the ones who when at school got called names would go crying to mummy or to the teacher instead of just dealing with it.

Makes me laugh that people will watch a programme that has a warning that it could be offensive then they complain when they get offended!
It made me laugh.
And I know people slag off Jordan but she has been "successful" in her own way and I applaud her for that.
As for Peter Andre - although his singing career was rather brief I still think what he did could be construed as singing far more than that Rotten *** - he never sang it was more of a shout/screech. Also I thought he'd made a success in property / time shares with his music 'fortune' ?
As for the rest - dull, dull, dull.

i dont think anyones talking about "offence", my comment was simply that i thought he spoken highly out of turn bearing in mind the situation and that, imo, makes him a tool.
as for the others:
good luck to all of them, most of them have money (or have had money) beyond that of 99% of most people. they have also had success that few on here will ever achive in their profession....jordans a model and got in playboy, PA is a singer and has played Wembley, etc
if they are now using IACGMOOH as a platform to relauch/further their profession then its no difference to anyone in IT going to a recruitment fair and ppl laughing at them for trying to seek out new lines of work.

MJW.....your proving the point slightly
anyone remember it? why would they? oh, because he swore...thus creating the fuss you arent fussed about!

It could have been a lot worse. Just imagine the uproar if he'd used the words ****** or Paki. Theyd all be jumping on the bandwagon saying how terrible a man he is.
As it stands now not many people seen to be really offended. ITV only had 88 complaints about him. Out of about 10 million viewers thats not bad is it.
chip.

ITV knew what they would get with Lydon on the show.
The show is a pile of w@nk anyway, and Lydon's use of the word **** had me in stiches last night, certainly made the show more entertaining. I'll be watching it again for more repeats of the same. And yes we can all swear, and yes the 5 year olds down the local school probably all know worse, and yes i am probably not a very smart person for laughing at such childish humour, but hey, gotta admit ******* funny!
If you are offened don't watch the fecking show, and as for the kids, it is after the watershed!!
Jeez some people will complain at anything.
In the words of Lydon, **** off i'm leaving

He's a punk icon and you're offended 'cos he said ****. LOL I didn't even register it till certain types of people made a big deal about it. I'm glad he still has the power to offend. Good for him.

Funny how it's acceptable to show people being shot or beaten to death on prime time TV, yet a 'dirty' word is unacceptable. They're only words, and they are what you make them. Getting up in arms and emotional about this kind of thing just creates more conflict.
Oh well, what do I know?

have any of you ever considered reading a post before responding to it?
whos offended?
no one here has said that have they? and whos on about kids? (although if you live in an area where school kids of 5 years know c*** then i suggest you move because it sounds like a ****hole)
my point, and others, was that saying it was stupid in that situation....why was it anything else? if you find it funny to swear in front of ppl that are not those that you would normally swear in front off then next time your mums over for a cup of tea tell her you thought JL swearing and saying **** was fckuin funny and any who doent is a fcukin **** face.
if she laughs then your stuffed because you've been raised by a fool, if she gives you a slap post on here because i'll find that funny

When I was a student years ago I worked in a washing powder factory on nights putting boxes on pallets. Anyway the canteen was brilliant, you could have steak and chips for 15p! Went home in the morning an Mum would usually be up waiting with a cup of tea. One morning she asked if I'd eaten and I replied in a delerious state because I was sooo tired "yeah I had a big fukin steak for 15p you should have seen the kunt".
She told me to go to bed because I must be tired.
I have never ever been forgiven for that.
