blinder m-06 anyone bought /used one ??
Following the recent threads regarding the blinder m-06 laser diffuser being available via e-bay, etc for in some cases well under £100, ( £85 buy it now in one case ) !!! anyone on here actually use one ??
as has been correctly pointed out to me already, the diodes ?? that this particular type off diffuser uses are although very strong will burn out within a few years, but as a very low mileage driver myself, but still concerned enough to require a diffuser just wonder if anyone has purchased / set one off these particular devices up yet ?? surely if the device is constantly firing its jamming signal as opposed to the others which only fire back upon receiving the signal in the first place, actual set up may not be quite so critical as this other type ??
is the chap who was doing them on here a week or two back still around ?? want to get in touch for a deal sir ??!!
p.s seen two camera vans in full operation today here in fife, scotland, all off 1/2 mile off each other !!!

Wouldn't go for anything that is firing all the time - using jammers is questionable legally, and somebody has been done for it. If it is going all the time you will draw attention. Much better to have a set up that fires and warns you then cust off after a few seconds. Gives you time to stand on the breaks, plod to reset and get another reading by which time you are under the limit (not that you would have been over the limit in the first place )

I would like to see (maybe this would end up impossible) Laser blocking washer jets. You can get the gay LED washer ones, so why not a laser diffusing type?
Maybe 2 LEDs next to the no.plate?
Could be stealth hidden in the screws/bolts?? You can get the LED plate bolts too...
Hmmmmmmm
Time to mod!

Ok,
Kit looks like this:
Pretty simple really, the way I like it. There's an on /off switch and a buzzer for it, so easily controllable. I think the guy I bought mine from was kind enough to add the switch / buzzer.

Thanks again mate really appreciatte your help, have received a reply from the chap who was selling these blinders within one or two car related websites he advised me that the buzzer was for alerting the user that the car was being lasered, which is fair enough but in all honesty I was pretty sure from some off the various descriptions off this very unit that it did in fact not receive laser signals like other jammers, instead it worked by way off the jamming systmn being on constantly instead off having to rely on a laser signal being received first.
wonder if you happen to know more regards this buzzer alert ?? bearing in mind my comments on how this particular device works !!
also, any ideas on exact place off fitting within the front grill you are going to mount it ??
take you have seen the various adverts on e-bay etc for this m-06 model ?? can I ask if you purchaesd it via e-bay or perhaps the seller on here ??
cheers mark,
john....

The jammer head has a white output wire which connects to the buzzer.
I will check it with a TV remote when ive fitted it and see what happens, as im not sure on the method it operates.
The switch is handy, as you can flick it off if the alarm sounds. (hopefully)

Thanks for the extra info mark !!
have since been in touch with this same chap mark, " nezz10 " but seems he has sold out off them now !! but as mentioned earlier, do have another source for them slightly cheaper !! but unfortuanatly these ones come minus the little extras ( on/off switch, buzzer, extra cable ) but suppose these parts would be able to be purchased at any electronics type store ?? may be back in touch again mark if I need additional info re fitting the buzzer etc , if thats okay with yourself ??!! but from what you say it just wires to the white wire on one off the sensor heads- correct ?? and also the on/off switch would be wired just so as to interupt power to the actual unit ??
but as I say thanks again for now mate, will let you know how I get on !!
anyone else add anything re. these blinder m-06 models ??

You are correct. You can get the buzzer / switch from RS or any hardware type shop. I can mail you the wiring diagram for it.
I would add that the M-06 being "on" all the time, may give an advantage some of these portable cameras they leave on the side of the road. (ones that get the back of the car on the way past) If you are fitting the heads on the back, they will guard against these quite well I believe. Mine are going on the front, however.
