Siemens *** - Any Good?
I lost my Motorola phone at Xmas.
Hated it - so been looking for a new mobile, but don't want a crap one again!
I spend about £15 a year on calls and texts - so you can see its not required to be flash or have photo cr4p on it ..... it MUST have a good menu system (something that drove me mad about the old Motorola I had!)
Anyway, I have come across a Siemens *** new for £29:99 - seems a good price, its on PAYG.
Anyone got one and is it any good or should I invest in a £90 All Whistles and Bells model?
Pete

The Siemens are good phones, but really, the S55 is a better phone (just sold mine for a S/E T610)
The Siemens is a VERY professional phone, with some really good features - once you've used one, you wouldn't go back to using say, a Nokia. (IMHO)
Hope this helps

check out the Siemens site (mysiemens.something.......) I *think* there's an interactive thing.....

The *** is great for £29 on Orange PAYG (special offer on www.orange.co.uk). Does all you need in a basic phone (polyphonic, speakerphone, 5-7 day standby, light, small, etc).
No camera, no IR, no bluetooth, but you don't need that.
Can unlock them easily too.

Siemens handsets are very robust, my 4-year old C35 has been dropped, immersed in water etc etc and it still works great. Good battery life too. Is there a market for "classic" mobiles?
