Get a PDA!!
dell axim X5 £165 ish
add in a 256 (60 ish) sd card or bigger
voila , and you get a pocket pc to boot,
if you go this route, you can add more tunes by changing cards
the other alternative is the smartphone route,, find one ex contract and
change to payg
i,ll check if my old smartphone can do it

Depends what you want. Try www.iwoot.com I got a nice little USB "key" mp3 player from there. Small, reasonable sound, handy for swapping files between computers etc

Since when was a Creative Zen solid state?
Personally, I'd have a look at www.ihavetohave.it
I have the mpio FY200

Agree ipod is good for what it does,
but thats all it does..
a pda can do the same and more
and with the price of sd cards falling they are more attractive,
each to there own though
