And there was the government saying it would review all camera sites,with the intention of removing any proven to be incorrectly sited!!!

They have now said that all present sites are correct and have anounced a further 600 cameras will be put up round the country very soon.

They wrote to the SCAMERA partnerships to ask if they needed to re-site any cameras. The SCAMERA partnerships said "No", obviously becuase they are happy with the revenue being generated from them being sited incorrectly. So the Government then come back and say everything is OK, we'll bang some more up then as the treasurey only made £7 million last year as the SCAMERA partnerships got the rest.

Just been reading the comments on bbc news about speed cameras, and it really pi$$es me off reading stuff like "well if you break the law and speed, you deserve to be punished"!! Some people really have missed the point.
