Angry oh, eight hundred - 7383773

Well you have probably seen the ads, but have you seen the prices??

The http://www.0800reverse.com/ web-site points ya to the relevant bit of the BT web-site, where (are you sitting down?)...

There is an initial GBP2.10 operator service charge, plus a connection charge of 50p per minute (for national calls) - in increments of three minutes, with a minimum charge of three minute!!!

So, at the first second of connection, you, or rather the destination number, has to fork out THREE POUNDS AND SIXTY PENCE!!!!

0800 Reverse - it's the new way to empty your bank account

Thumbs down

Oops, i miss-read the BT web-site, and it is actually 50p for three minutes rather than just the one (doh, typical BT - the only phone company to quote in three rather than one minute intervals! )

Nevertheless - as soon as that phone is answered, ker-ching goes two pounds and sixty pence!!!

How come you have to pay on 0800 number or is it as soon as the reversed call is answered?

cant see it taking off myself, the UK has never been big on using letters to substitute numbers like all those one number for life 07000 numbers that were going to be massive but died and faded into obscurity.
