That "He's Starsky and I'm Hutch" or whatever on C4 last night was utter crap. It was just a biography on Soul and nothing like it was advertised as - load of rubbish.

I also watched the channel 4 programme last night.
Yes it should have been renamed a biography of David Soul. They used a few different interviews.
It was cheeky when he complained about not getting a financial reward for the continuing success of the show. He shouldn't have been so greedy when he sold his rights to royalties in 1979 for £100k.
I felt no pity for him at all.
I can't believe the show only talked about the other guy (sorry I can't remember his name) for a minute. His life has been overun by tragedy, but as it lacked scandal it was brushed to the side until the later part of the show.
p.s. I never liked the original show (I thought it was a boring show for grown-ups).
I guess the film is much better.

Nicci,
I totally agree with you. You don't hear of the Beatles bitching about Michael Jackson having the rights to their catalogue. Just because he sunk his money into some dreadful investments is not the fault of the owners of the Starsky and Hutch rights.
Made me cringe listening about him 'selling himself'
Makes you wonder how he managed to land on the car on his a$$ in the opening credits or is that area now completely numb??

Saw the film on Sat - some pretty funny stuff in it (oh, and Yasmin Bleeth - hubba bubba.....).
However, the original Starsky and Hutch cameo was absolutely toe curlingly, cringlingly awful, it spoiled the whole film.
