Lightbulb Another DIGITAL Camera question

I have a Canon Ixus 400 camera
the battery in it is a NB-1LH 3.7 V 840mAh

I have been offered a battery for it which is identical other than being 100mAh

will this do any damage or will it just last longer ?

100mAH? - you might get oo, two pictures out of it.

The bigger the mAH figure, the bigger the charge the battery can hold and, in theory, the longer it will last.
