I don't keep snakes but my local pet shop - mostly fish but with some small reptiles - sell frozen mice or whatever. I often wondered what people were buying when they were just given a newspaper wrapped bundle, rather like cold fish and chips So try local pet shop??

very cruel feeding dead mice to snakes.

If you were a mouse how would you like to die?

...pushed into a frezzer drawer while still alive at the mouse farm.

...have a quick game of "journey to the centre of the earth" before you pop your cloggs?, while the snake owners look on eargerly awaiting your fate...

The mice aren't put in a freezer, they are gassed . We just buy our mice from a petshop, along with frozen rabbits for our bigger snake

I friend of mine used to have a couple of snakes. These slithery fusspots would only eat live mice. After a while each petshop he frequented would cotton on to the fact he was buying live mice to feed to something, and they would refuse to serve him. He got fed up of going further and further afield to get the mice, so started breeding them himself.

My bro is the one who buys them. I "think" the rabbits/gineau pigs (whatever's in stock) are £1 each and the mice for our smaller snakes are about £5 for a bag
