One hopes that any cases he offered advice on will be looked at, to see if his advice lent to any form leniency for the criminals sentance.
When you're an expert of this sort of thing should you not be vetted very thoroughly indeed? OK, you could, possibly have the odd indecent picture at home, as it's part of a case you're working on, and thus reviewing things, and I don't mean that in a sick and twisited way, this piece of scum probably did take work home with him for his own enjoyment.

How the **** can you say sorry for that? I think the girls getting an apology from him would quite possibly cause painful memories to be relived and that's not on.

He shouldn't have *any* indecent pictures of children - full-stop! They're highly illegal, even for police officers when investigating the matter! Its only down to being in the public interest that we avoid prosecution!
