I have been on o2 with singlepoint for a year now with top tarriff 1000 mins per month, my bill is always over and I have always paid on time. I thought i must be due a free upgrade, when I called them, I get "oh any handset requires a contribution, sir!" So I asked how much is this "contribution" ? which phone? ok say nokia 6600? that will be 189pounds sir!!! I am like WTF what sort of business is this, singlepoint is without a doubt the worst sp for mobiles I have ever used, so many **** phonecalls and been messed about so many times by them.

So I am thinking to take my business and my number elsewhere, does anyone know if i take my number and get a new contract with someone else, can I get pretty much any handset seeing as I would go on highest tarriff? its hard getting a straight answer.

I am pretty sure that o2 no longer do the 1000 mins plan, but i am still on it, so i am not sure if orange will do the price plan match of what i have already... any suggestions what to do for the best?? I would like a v500/v600/nokia6600 or there was a nice sony ericsson flip phone looked interesting

Go to Orange, they'll exactly match your current price plan if you want, and you'll definitely get a free phone, and keep your number.

i agree they are crap!

ive just got a new contract with vodafone, got the new E710 for free, with free texts and free mins each month! avoid orange, and t-mobiles customer service is shocking!!!
