Ipod Mini - where from?
I know they're like rocking horse poo but does anyone know where I can source one? I've got friends looking in the USA for me but with no luck. There are a few on eBay but don't trust em

got 2 on the way .
Got mine from apple direct (also free laser etching) , shipped to a US address , then he forwarded them on to me. Took 2 weeks from order to delivery to him.
Is there a launch price for when they are 'officially' on sale in the UK ?

Not officially any launch price yet. I heard that £175 ish would be about right. Not the £199 that Apple initially quoted.
No idea where you can get one from though. Are your friends any where near a proper Apple Store in the US. They would be your best bet.

I've ordered one from eBay as even some Apple stores are running out of them. Just be thorough in checking out the seller before you buy from them. Email them, check out their feedback etc.

ive just purchased one from a friend who just got back from NY he bought 5, i have agreed to pay £180, the current exchange rate price. Currently uploading to it now, the itunes software i have found to be a bit of a pain in the butt, although getting there eventually. Its a smart little package i have to say, the controls are easy to work, it can also charge via usb/firewire.

I know, I really like the blue. I bought this for my girlfriend, she wanted pink but I couldn't find one anywhere and I was afraid it was going to be bloody awful anyway.
I'm currently trying to keep my girlfriends hands off my remote from my normal iPod. The remotes are seriously cool though so I don't blame her.
