Default Adventure training

Any ideas??

I've been tasked to organise an adventure training wkend. It's for about 40 blokes aged between 18-37, it needs to be over a two day period give or take a day. The cost should be of a reasonable amount and within England or wales. It is meant to be part of a bonding exercise. I asked about a wkend in Amsterdam (having it!!!!) but got told it was not constructive enough. I dont think it would look good 40 hotel rooms, call girls, and S*$t load of weed on the company accounts!!! just joking about the weed!!1

It doesn't have to be adventure training just something exciting to do.

white water rafting, paintballing, go carting are a few ideas.

anyone done something like this beforec or any ideas.

cheers Adam

Adam,

What about Plas Menai? It's the National Water Sports centre on the North Wales coast (right on the Menai Straights).

Has accommodation and, all importanly, a bar on-site. Rooms are fairly basic but clean. They do an Extremely Wet Day which includes all manor of stuff like coasteering, powerboating etc.

Chris.

Adam

Do you want to organise it or just source a package at a price. We can provide both training or fun courses and offer advice if you want to do it yourself. Helps if you have an idea of preferred location and time of year (some activities are weather dependant, funds available and the ultimate goal ie: learn something or just have a damn good time together!!!

Obi,

Thanx for the offer. Do u run a company or something? If you have a brochure available I would love to read a copy. I'm just after something exciting to do for a couple of days and get me in the good books at work.

any more ideas??

Adam,

I run a large indoor climbing wall in London. We organise lots of different courses and know a number of people who deliver 'multi' activity courses in different locations.
The start point is to look at the group of people you've been asked to organise this event for. What are they capable of. How 'adventurous' is too adventurous. Do you want them laying in the mud totally bu**ered at the end of the day or mildly 'glowing' from brisk exercise and mental challenge. Where are you based and how far do you want to travel. How much do you want to spend. Do you want 'roughy toughy' sleeping in the dirt with just a piece of gravel on your chest for warmth, or hotel showers and a five course meal whilst you disect the lessons of the day. Have a few thoughts and if you want to, contact me on 020 8980 0289 (option 4 on the call attendant for reception and ask to speak to Andrew).

Regards Obi

ps: I'll be out of the country from the 2rd to the 19th.
