i think they were just taking the p1ss by the end,hillbillys playing banjos and all that. was really disappointed with it.
remember the lady butchering the pigs? she said she got a new stock of pigs that were infected with some disease and it spread all over the place

The woodman's dog died for some reason, and it gave him the disease. He passed it to the teens. They passed it around elsewhere. The pump station attendant's kid was just in there early so when they went back for help it came as no huge suprise that it bit him!

Huge disappointment for me, same as Dreamcatcher. A good start with great potential for scaring people. I was creeped out with both films until about halfway through when the comedy gore and stupid storylines come in.

What do people think of Dawn of the Dead? My wife wants to see Shaun of the Dead, but I've told here we have to see Dawn first, so that we understand any subtle jokes!

Oh, yeah. The bit about the gun being for "The *******", at the end when it all came clear was the funniest part of the whole film for me!!!!

the disease was started cos of the rusty ****ty water pipe, which then fooked up the lake. the girl fell into it, got the disease. obviously the dogs, foxes, chickens, rabbits and their mums drank from the lake, the hillbillies didn't cos they had fresh supply...til the kiddies at the end screwed that plan! best part of the film was when she shaved her legs in the bath........the misses cringed on that!

the ending is soo funny he best bit is the gun bit AND the bit when the guy goes back to the hut and thinks he got through with it but with the sheriffs outside waiting

The leg shaving was pants. From the build up the hype gave it I thought it was going to be really gory. It was twoddle. I was expecting blood everywhere, skin falling off in chunks, bone being shown, veins and muscle bulging out.

No, just some blood and some skin comming off. Rubbish.

Wrong turn was good though. Better than expected.

Better film is WRONG TURN. Much better. Texas Chainsaw was only worth watching coz of the fit bird. Christ she was hot.

Someone tell me what happened to the early John Carpenter movies? Why can't they make them genuinely Scary anymore?

I'll second that, Wrong Turn is good. Bit of a modern day Deliverance. Some very tense parts in that film.

Cabin Fever is bad.
