If she calls, what should I say?!
I got a phonecall this morning at around 7.10, I was like wtf ! Anyway, it turns out to be my ex from when I was 17! Haven't really spoken to this guy much over the past four years although there is no grudge between us . It turns out he was in A&E as he had something in his eyes (spraypaint I think -- he's an artist). He had to have his eyes washed out and anastethic (SP?) put in them, then had both of them covered up with pads. The hospital wouldn't let him leave without someone to get him home . He phoned all round his friends to no avail, then tried his mum who told him that she wouldn't go because it was too early!!! This resulted in me catching a bus up to the Royal Infirmary at 7.45 to take the poor guy back home and get him tucked up in bed! I was planning a lie in!
I think it's pretty tight he had to phone an ex from 4 years ago to help him home in a taxi. Even though he is 21, parents should still take some level of responsibility no matter what age their kids are. What makes it even better is that his mum and I don't get on
This was my second visit to A&E this week for someone else -- I spent the early hours of my 21st birthday on Tuesday there
I'm expecting a phonecall from his mum telling me to keep away from her precious son. If she does what shall I say?!

don't think you should worry about it if she could'nt give a toss about her son being in hospital then she's unlikely to get in touch with you. if she does, then say what j4mou said.

I will admit it though, it was nice to see him again after so long shame he looked like a bit of a **** with the eye patches though LOL

If she doesn't want you together and wants you to stay away play on her fears.
Tell her that until you saw him in the hospital you hadn't thought much about him, but now seeing him again has rekindled your interest and seeing as he's so obviously missing people who care about him in his life then you are going to do your utmost to give him what is missing. In short you're back in his life for good and finish it off by telling her that if she'd gone to the hospital instead then you'd never have given him another thought.
That should do it.

She is like that! An interfering cow thats why we split in the first place. Supposedly we were too young for a relationship!
Joan's idea sounds pretty good too! I could reeeeeally wind her up without trying!!!
