I'm just curious to find out which ones work 'n' which ones don't.
...just thought that everyone here would own one?
Is it not deemed essential scooby hardware?
are they illegal?
...has anyone tried the garage door openers to block the hand held guns?

there is a website called ukspeedtraps I think that imparrtrially reviews these devices.
I had a bell 990 for a number of years and a number of friends have had similiar devices, and we all came to the same conclusion, they are pretty much useless they false alarm more than they detect anything which in the end just makes you ignore the inane chatter coming from it.
there are to many things that set them off in the uk, automatic doors on petrol stations, the device my dad has on the entrance to his drive to tell him when someon enters the gate made my 990 go off 300m before the turning.
For cameras get a gps based device (Road Angel, B2 ect). for hand held laser get a jammer like the lrc100
