have just booked a weeks hols to the Marroit beach Resort in taba heights has anyone any experience of this hotel / area ????

Stayed next door at the Hyatt regency for new years 2002/2003. Resort is great, middle of nowhere very spectacular views ect. The hotel is wright on the beach and there is a great coral reef running along it, spent some time every day we were there snorkling. Recomend the day trip to Petra in Jordon which is only about 60/70 miles away but takes some time as you have to go through customs at Egypt, Israel and Jordon but is an amazing site.Pyramid tour is good but is 6 hours each way which is knackering. Would definately recomend the resort though it will be bloody hot this time of year.
