This is an unashamed vent of frustration so bear with me....
We're moving house this weekend, so booked a van online with Sixt Kenning about a month ago. Chose this particular outfit as had previously used them for a return Heathrow run. They worked out cheaper than parking, and after reading the thread on here about the guy with the Porsche 944 (I think) and his experience with BA Parking Express, I decided my car was safer tucked up in my dad's garage.
Also, they're one of the few rental companies to trust under 25's with one of their vehicles.
Anyway, by chance yesterday I drive past their office, where tonight I was supposed to be collecting the van. I was a little disturbed to see a "To Let" sign attached to the building.
"Ok" I thought, they may be relocating or closing down in a few months. I got home and tried the number, even though it was outside their opening hours. "This number has changed to..."
To cut my rambling; the office has closed and no one bothered to phone or email me
So no van and the nearest other location is Liverpool or Manchester.
Anyway, I've had my moan now. Thanks for enduring it!

Given that Sixt are an international company, not just a local one, I'd phone their customer services. You might get lucky and get something out of them.
