today i was hassled by a traffic warden, i wasnt parked properlly in aparking bay, this i have no problems with, what narked me was "your on your final warning now, we have video`d you twice before and this is the last time before you goto court"

wtf???

ive never been spoken to about anthing every before, i feel he is lieing through his teeth in an attempt to make him sound a bit more "hard"

i ask where this evidence is
"its locked away"

now im trying not to laugh at this point, so i get stuck into him

"i would like a copy of the tape as it is my legal right"
"no its not, you will see it when your in court"
"thats not how it works, ok mister, what is your name"
"im not telling you"

lmfao

i get out my pen and paper and start taking his details

"name please"
"not telling you"
"ok i need your details"

"i dont want your telephone number"
"its my traffic warden number"
"have you got any proof of that? is it on your clotheing sumwhere? show me"

traffic warden gets his shoulder out and proves its on his shirt

"north shields police station"
"if i go there i can see this tape?"
"no its locked away"
"if you have video`d me then its my legal right to see the tape"
"its not and you cant see it until your at court"
"ok so i will go and visit this police station and make a complaint about you and your tape and then i can see it?"
"not till your at court, your on your final warning"



"no im not, i will be going to see about this tape at the station"
"all im telling you is, this is your final warning, if you do it again your going to court"

he walks away, and i dont move (i ended up chatting to sumbody for about 5 mins) i noticed he was returning after going for one of there power walks, so i simply left



and then went into his favorite station and made a complaint against him
what a suprise, they do not have video evidence of me, the police man explained that he was sorry about what had happend and that the traffic warden must have simply gotten confused and mislead me

he will be getting a bollocking when he returns back to the station, i felt so proud as i left the station, doing my bit for the UK motorist felt fantastic, next week i want to do sum volenteer lollipop man duties to help the children and OAP`s cross the road.

Were gettin overun in nottingham , just had loadsa pay and display bays put in and at 6pm they turn into taxi ranks and dead on 6pm they turn up in a mini bus ( digital camera in hand ) and start dishing out the tickets..!

north shields has changed a lot, how long ago did you own the lighhouse?
im in the posh bit called "the royal quays", hasnt been built that long, we have a big water park here now and a pretty big park with a ickle water fall thing and stuff in it, never been any trouble round this way, i would be paranoid if it was still "the ridges" but thats long gone lol

My gran owned it up until she died a few years ago then it was sold to someone and was renevated. I haven't been up there in ages but we used to hang round on the quay as I knew someone with a fishing boat. we also went to Collingwood Monument down the road a few times, colour coates rings a bell and whitley bay, tynemouth etc.

is the little yellow south shields ferry still running?

Went to NS Nick a few times to hand in stuff I had found, handed a camera in once and then got it back a few weeks later.

Typical example of give someone a uniform and watch them start power tripping peeps- usually the quieter polite ones! Strange you rarely see these types 'preaching' to six foot plus guys, rather save it for some mom on her shopping trip!

yeah the ferry still runs, and on a friday night you can take a ferry up and down the river tyne, but its filled with dancing lights and pints of beer lol
