somewhere more interesting
been on this site since end of 1999 i think, first as Cus, now Ted. total posts of about 300 in all that time. Started looking at the site because of my scooby.
Anyhow, this place has become pretty boring for me, especially since cwe closed. and muppets - like looking at a chatroom for school kids.
So anyone recommend somewhere more interesting?
Cheers,
Ted

LOL. milo.
It's a release for some people who can't act like that in real life. You'd think by some of the bickering in here that this was the playground

sorry eclaire - muppets humour just not for me I guess.
and milo, it's more like asking the people sitting at the table rather than asking the owners. I'm sure they've all eaten at other restaurants which they'd recommend?

Ted- Agree with the muppet forum. I have a great sense of humour but that place is an embarrassment to read 98% of the time, quite frankly. Then there's the single emoticon postings!!! wtf?
Before any muppet starts to weep and throw a wobbly, it is my view.

LOL Spoon.
Have noticed though a few of the muppets who have been there for a while (incl. myself) are posting less nowadays.... still, there are still a few golden threads being produced, have a look (if you can manage to weed them out through all the keek!)

Hats off to the SN Mods too for standing back and letting it run it's full course. I think we're all suffering a little withdrawl after that. T'was fun, and the last post was a classic. PMSL.

Hey Tel- I've not "tried" as you put it, I couldn't, it's way too immature for me to attempt, sorry and all that to burst your bubble. Some posts are okay, say 2% that may warrant an input.
Mind you it's quite amazing how defensive you get. What was that laughing it off all about, shouldn't that apply to you too? Then again maybe you didn't understand the real humour behind the LoS thing?
I visit there fairly often and like it but I can always spot a defensive individual dying to protect "their" space and I *must* tease them. Now I know you get emotional about things I'll not mention it again.

I'm not being defensive - why *would* i be? It's not my bbs, not my Forum; it's just usually a great place to relax and have a laugh - just pointing out facts. People with predominantly cynical or patronising senses of humour (especially the self-confessed ones!!) just don't reap any reward there, but it would be boring if we were all the same...
